BY Alec06 · March 25, 2024

Brave Entertainment's new girl group, Candy Shop, is heating up the atmosphere ahead of their official debut.

Candy Shop will make their grand debut with the release of their first mini-album 'Hashtag#' through various music sites at 6 PM on the 27th

Candy Shop aims to captivate listeners with their diverse charm and music that represents their generation, much like the variety found in thousands of candies. Here are three reasons why their debut is highly anticipated.

Produced by the 'Hit Maker' Brave Brothers…Continuing the Girl Group Success Saga

Candy Shop is a four-member girl group, the first from Brave Entertainment in about 13 years. Brave Brothers, who has produced hit songs for numerous girl groups like Brown Eyed Girls, After School, Sistar, and AOA, took on the main producing role.

The debut album features a total of four songs that highlight various charms, including trendy sounds and Brave Brothers' signature electronic rhythms. Expectations are high for Candy Shop to continue the girl group success saga led by Brave Brothers.

Gen Z-targeted Content…Birth of a 'Gen Z Hotspot'

'Hashtag#' is an album name that embodies Candy Shop's determination to introduce themselves to the public and drive active communication and empathy. Proving their point, Candy Shop targeted Gen Z's preferences with individual self-PR content and short-form teaser videos.

The group has also uploaded individual and group performance videos, showing confidence in their talents. There's keen interest in whether they will become a 'Gen Z hotspot' with their bubbly charm and outstanding abilities.

'Good Girl' MV Shot in New York…A High Teen Movie

The title track 'Good Girl' is a Baltimore club dance genre song with a popular yet sophisticated melody, produced under the guidance of Brave Brothers. It is expected to convey a message of empathy through honest lyrics that reflect the lifestyle of Gen Z.

Notably, the music video for the title track was shot on location in New York, promising grand scale visuals.

Previously, Candy Shop released content sequentially, including a debut trailer that combines the exotic scenery of New York with the youthful energy of the members, drawing attention to the music video that is expected to resemble a high teen movie.
