INFINITE Lee Sungjong's contract with SPK Entertainment formally terminated

INFINITE member Lee Sungjong's exclusive contract with SPK Entertainment has been formally terminated as of March 30 KST, a representative of the idol confirmed. The contract termination was achieved through forced mediation by the court as the civil lawsuit between Lee Sungjong and SPK Entertainment over contractual obligations is scheduled to proceed. 

Previously in December of 2023, Lee Sungjong filed for the termination of his exclusive contract with SPK Entertainment, citing reasons including failure to provide the artist with support as outlined in the contract, as well as failure to pay the artist his earnings from both group and solo activities. 

Lee Sungjong signed on with SPK Entertainment as an artist in August of 2022. In 2023, the artist released his 1st solo single 'The One' before going on to greet fans with the release of INFINITE's 7th mini album, '13egin'.
