LE SSERAFIM found themselves on the hot seat once again.
The popular girl group recently received criticism for their encore stage on Mnet's 'M! Countdown' when they struggled to sing "Easy" live. Many pointed out that the track was too low and laid back for the members to sing live on stage and even questioned their musical talents.

Then, on March 1, LE SSERAFIM was again under fire for their latest encore performance on KBS's 'Music Bank' after winning first place.
During the encore, the members brought out recorders and began playing the tune on the instrument instead of singing.

One Korean netizen explained that LE SSERAFIM had prepared the recorder performance as a special event. They stated they would perform with a recorder if they won #1. However, other Korean netizens criticized that the recorder performance lacked quality.
Korean netizens commented, "Seems like they're trying to avoid performing live no matter what," "They are trying to avoid performing in so many different ways," "If they're singers, they need to sing live," "They didn't face their problem but completely avoided it, lol," "The comments saying they're avoiding live performance is hilarious," "The recorder sounds so bad," "People are asking why the comment section is so angry. It's because they're not good at singing!" and "Their recorder is a special performance? It just seems like they didn't want to sing."
On the other hand, fans defended the members, stating, "I think it sounds okay when they play the recorder," "Why are so many people criticizing them about this?" and "This wasn't that bad."
