Rookie K-Pop idol Jo of DXMON, known by many netizens as the 'Sea Urchin Idol' or the 'Idol with Sea Urchin Hair', appeared as a guest on the popular YouTube series by celebrity hairstylist KIU-ssaem!
On this day, Jo got a major hair makeover, getting his trademark "sea urchin hair" look undone and going for a more natural style.
While getting his hair done, Jo also opened up about the struggles of maintaining his trademark look. KIU-ssaem's assistant asked, "Can you sleep in the car?", to which Jo replied, "No, I can't. I also have to ride in the car with the back of the chair laid back." Hearing this, KIU-ssaem remarked, "What if you sleep with your chin down on your chest?". Jo explained, "If I try to sleep like that, and then I sudden jerk awake, I might hit my head against the back of the chair or something and mess up the back, so even if I fall asleep by mistake, I try hard not to jerk my head back."
Jo also talked about how he became a K-Pop idol. "Originally, I wanted to be either a chef or a perfumer. But my parents suggested that I try becoming an idol. At first, I wasn't sure if I could do it, since I am an ultra 'I' (introvert). But once I starting receiving training, I found out that I was more suited for it than I thought, and that's how I got to where I am," the DXMON member shared.
Finally, Jo confirmed that his group DXMON planned on making a speedy comeback this year, asking fans to look forward to what hair style he will try next.
