
SM Entertainment and TV Chosun are set to debut a 5-member trot idol group.
On August 13, the label and network made the announcement for their joint idol trot project 'T-5,' revealing they'll be collaborating to present a trot idol boy group targeting the global market. The trot idol group formed will be made up of 5 members with talent and flair, including a singer from the reality competitive series 'Mr. Trot', a K-pop global trainee, and an actor.
The producer for the group is Jo Young Soo, who's one of Korea's top composers and the mater of the 'Miss Trot' and 'Mr. Trot' series. TV Chosun will air the group's debut process in both Korea and Japan, and a preview broadcast has been scheduled for this Chuseok holiday.
