Fan protests against Seunghan returning to RIIZE is intensifying.
On October 11, some fans were outraged after SM Entertainment made an announcement revealing that Seunghan would be resuming activities with RIIZE. Following the announcement, some fans have been going as far as boycotting the group altogether, canceling orders of RIIZE merchandise.
To take things further, some extreme fans have sent dozens of funeral wreaths in front of the SM Entertainment company building demanding Seunghan's exit from the group.

These funeral wreaths hold messages such as "Hong Seunghan Out," "Seunghan leave RIIZE," "Exit RIIZE," "Hong Seunghan buzz off," "Freeloader Seunghan exit" and more.
Korean netizens are growing concerned for RIIZE as fans' contempt continues to grow. They commented:
"SM needs to do something fast before all the fans leave."
"SM needs to get their act together. The group was doing well with 6 members. They are ruining everything."
"There is a reason fans are going this far about this."
"This is how much fans don't want him back in the group."
"Listen to the fans before the group goes down with Seunghan."
"They need to understand that they stabbed fans' backs by bringing Seunghan back into the group."
"This is such a disappointment to fans that they are sending so many wreaths demanding he leave the group."
"I support the fans."
"Please leave the group for the sake of the group."
"He needs to leave the group voluntarily."
