Hwa Sa confessed that she lost weight on her thighs by taking medication.
Recently, SBS Special 'Bodymentary - Confessions About Weight' released a video titled "Kim Wan Sun × Han Seung Yeon × Jeon Hyo Seong × Soyu × Hwasa, Their Confessions About the Love-Hate Relationship with Weight.
In the video, Kim Wan Sun shared, "I’m really worried about my belly fat," revealing that even after 39 years in the industry, she is still struggling with her weight.
Han Seung Yeon described her relationship with weight as "a love-hate relationship," while Hwasa said, "I’m really tired of it," showing her frustration. Soyou jokingly said, while touching her belly in front of the camera, "Doesn't it feel nice to touch it?" Jeon Hyo Seong added, "Is it necessary to lose weight like that to appear on camera? Why do those people walk around with their arms like that? I kind of feel that way." Han Seung Yeon honestly revealed, "I think it's my job to achieve that kind of appearance."
Meanwhile, Hwasa confessed, "I lost all that thigh fat by taking medication. I felt like all of my unique charm just disappeared?" explaining that she had no choice but to resort to medication for her diet. Soyou shared, "I looked at my body and felt disgusted," revealing that she had experienced serious stress because of her weight, which brought a sense of sadness. Jeon Hyo Seong also opened up, saying, "It was a cycle of binge eating, yo-yo dieting, and shame," and Hwasa mentioned, "Guilt, anger, and all kinds of emotions flooded me."
Meanwhile, SBS Special 'Bodymentary - Confessions About Weight' will air on December 8 at 11:05 PM (KST).
