BY Susan-Han · February 21, 2025

PLAVE's "Dash" has entered Billboard's 'Global 200', the first music release by a virtual idol group to enter the chart since K/DA's "More" in 2020.

According to the 'Global 200' chart's update for the week of February 22, PLAVE's "Dash" has successfully debuted at #195 on the chart, becoming the virtual K-Pop boy group's first ever 'Global 200' entry. Additionally, the group landed 4 songs from their 3rd mini album 'Caligo Pt.1' on Billboard's 'Global Excl. U.S.' chart, with "Dash" at #89, "Rizz" at #111, "Chroma Drift" at #115, and "Island" at #128.

Notably, PLAVE's 'Global 200' entry marks the first entry on the chart by a virtual idol group in approximately 5 years, since K/DA's 2nd single "More", which charted at #93 in November of 2020. K/DA was a virtual K-pop group created by Riot Games from 'League of Legends' characters, whose voices were provided by (G)I-DLE's Miyeon and Soyeon, Madison Beer, and Jaira Burns

Meanwhile, PLAVE's 3rd mini album 'Caligo Pt.1' previously became the most-streamed album of all time within the first 24 hours of release on Melon, accumulating over 11 million streams. Also upon the release of 'Caligo Pt.1', PLAVE joined Melon's 'Billions Club' in the shortest amount of time for any Korean artist. Finally, with 'Caligo Pt.1', the virtual idol group officially joined the 'Million-Seller' club with physical sales as well, selling over 1 million copies of their 3rd mini album in first-week sales.
