Comedian Lee Yong Jin under fire for cursing and complaining about South Korea's 'low birth rate' in front of LE SSERAFIM's Kim Chaewon

Comedian Lee Yong Jin has come under fire for his "unnecessary" and "crude" remarks on an episode of his YouTube series 'YongTarot', which most recently featured LE SSERAFIM's Kim Chaewon as a guest.
On this episode, Kim Chaewon asked Lee Yong Jin for a tarot reading regarding marriage. She said, "When will I get married?", to which Lee Yong Jin replied, "Do you want to get married at some point?".
Hearing this, Kim Chaewon answered enthusiastically, "Yes, I want to get married for sure. Much later, that is. Isn't it a very monumental moment in life?"
But while discussing the topic of marriage and "reading" Kim Chaewon's fortune on the topic through the tarot cards, Lee Yong Jin suddenly blurted out, "I'm so f***ing pissed these days about the country's low birth rate and how the structure of marriage has changed in our society."
He added on, "I saw in the news the other day that only one student enrolled in a school in Ganghwado, Incheon." To this, Kim Chaewon responded, "Wow, that is really shocking."

Of course, Lee Yong Jin did promptly apologized for cursing, remarking, "I'm sorry for cursing, and I know that this is not something I should be complaining to you about, but I'm just grumbling for the sake of grumbling. Because it really pisses me off."
Still, the comedian's abrupt and seemingly "uncalled-for" comments were not well received by netizens.
Many criticized, "WTF??", "Why is he saying that to Kim Chaewon? How the heck is Chaewon supposed to react to that?", "OMG why is he just cursing at Chaewon like that?", "That was so uncalled for. I bet Chaewon was really shocked too", "WTF, if you're that pissed, why don't you go give birth to some children yourself", "Okay what? That was just rude", "Excuse me, dude, but a female K-Pop idol's job is not to sit there and listen to you rant your views about social problems," and more.
Also during the segment, the comedian said to Kim Chaewon, "You know how there are some people who become more successful after marriage? That's you. Your fortune is to become a faithful wife and mother," but these comments only exacerbated the criticism.
In response to the criticism in the video's comments on and various online communities, 'YongTarot' has edited out Lee Yong Jin's cursing and his remarks about South Korea's low birth rate. Lee Yong Jin's side has yet to provide a position on the issue.
