Super Junior member Leeteuk made headlines for expressing affection toward U.S. President Donald Trump during a recent concert.
On May 11 (local time), SM Entertainment held a large-scale concert titled “SMTOWN LIVE 2025” at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles, commemorating the company’s 30th anniversary.
The event featured a total of 68 artists from 13 teams representing SM, including aespa, RIIZE, Hearts2Hearts, and Red Velvet. The concert was organized to celebrate SM’s three-decade legacy.
Super Junior, appearing as a six-member lineup (Leeteuk, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Ryeowook), greeted fans on stage. Leeteuk led the mood with humor, singing the Disney Lion King OST and jokingly calling an audience member “Mom.”
As the crowd’s excitement peaked, Leeteuk shouted: “I love USA,” “I love Elon Musk,” “I love In-N-Out,” and “I love Trump,” drawing enthusiastic cheers. A clip of the moment later spread on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), stirring further attention online.
이특오빠 이런 말 하면 안 돼요. 오랫동안 엘프였는데 너무 실망했어요. @special1004 hearing you say you love trump and elon musk is very disappointing. These men do not represent the USA. They are fascist, authoritarian, neo nazis who promote hate for pic.twitter.com/CKRBzewZL9
