On August 1, singer and entertainer (Mijoo) Lee Mi Joo revealed her first-ever car purchase in a new video uploaded to her YouTube channel Just LEE MIJOO! titled 'MIJOO's G-Wagen revealed for the first time! (feat. Hand washing in the rain).'
In the video, Mijoo introduced her new vehicle, a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG, also known as the G-Wagen. The high-end SUV is reportedly worth around 200 million KRW (approximately $155,000).
"This is the first car I bought after getting my driver’s license," she explained. "Getting the license felt like such a hassle, so I made a reservation for the car first. I thought that would motivate me to go ahead and get it."
When asked why she chose the G-Wagen, Mijoo admitted that she did not base the decision on performance or technical features. "I didn’t know much about cars. People told me this one was pretty, so I didn’t look at anything else," she said.
Regarding her driving skills, Mijoo confidently answered, "Yes, I think I’m good at it." The production crew jokingly responded by saying, "Maybe other drivers are just avoiding you." Laughing, Mijoo replied, "That’s why I tried driving other cars too, and I was good at those as well."
The light-hearted and candid video highlights Mijoo’s charm and sense of humor, showing a relatable side to the star even when it comes to buying a luxury car.
