Actress Ra Mi Ran mourns the passing of her mother

Actress Ra Mi Ran suffered the loss of her mother on October 1.

Her agency, TN Entertainment, released an official statement, saying: "Ra Mi Ran’s mother passed away today. We extend our deepest condolences and may the deceased rest in peace."

The agency further added, "We kindly ask for warm comfort and support so that Ra Mi Ran and her family may have sufficient time to grieve."

The funeral hall has been set up at Room 7, Cheolnakwon Incheon Funeral Home. The procession will be held on October 4, with the burial site at Seoul Municipal Memorial Park.

Meanwhile, Ra Mi Ran is currently starring in the MBC drama 'To the Moon' (written by Na Yoon Chae, directed by Oh Da Young and Jung Hoon). The series tells the story of three women from humble backgrounds who dive into cryptocurrency investments in a fight for survival. Ra Mi Ran plays the role of Kang Eun Sang.
