Singer HyunA revealed that she successfully lost around 10 kilograms through her recent diet efforts.
On November 4, HyunA shared several photos on social media with the caption, “It was so hard to change the number in front from the late 50s. Still a long way to go. How much have I been eating all this time? Kim HyunA, HyunA-yaaa!!!!!”
Among the photos was a picture of a scale showing 49kg, confirming that she has entered the 40kg range. Based on her caption, it appears that HyunA has lost about 10kg in total. Although her current weight is already quite slim, the singer hinted that she plans to continue dieting until she reaches her personal goal.
Fans also noticed that many of HyunA’s tattoos have faded. She previously mentioned that she has been removing her tattoos for about a year at her mother’s suggestion, and even the tattoo on her foot appears to have almost disappeared.
On October 3, HyunA posted a message expressing her renewed determination to lose weight. She wrote, “HyunA, you’ve been eating too much. Let’s get serious and work hard on this diet. You used to like being super skinny, so let’s try again.” The post included a photo from her promotion days when she was thinner, showing her motivation to return to that physique.
HyunA has faced ongoing pregnancy rumors since marrying former Highlight member Yong Junhyung in October last year. The speculation began because the couple married only nine months after they started dating, and because HyunA’s stage performances appeared less energetic before the wedding.
The rumors resurfaced recently when fans noticed that HyunA had gained a bit of weight after her marriage. However, her agency AT AREA denied the speculation, stating, “The rumors of pregnancy are not true.”
Earlier this year, HyunA also spoke about her weight gain during a YouTube appearance on Yongtarot. She explained, “I think I gained weight because I was happy. I was told to gain some for health reasons, but my body felt heavy when I danced, so I decided to start dieting again.”
HyunA’s latest post shows that her consistent efforts are paying off, and fans continue to support her as she focuses on her health and well-being.
