Son Yeon Jae preparing to travel to the U.S. with husband and son “I can already sense I’ll be doing all the childcare”

Former rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon Jae shared that she, her husband, and their son are getting ready for an upcoming trip to the United States.

On November 24, a new video titled ‘NO Ad) Top Year-End Gift Picks Winning Huge Praise from Viewers in Their 20s to 40s’ was uploaded to the Son Yeon Jae channel.

In the video, she introduced a range of year-end gift ideas priced between 10,000 KRW (about 7 USD) and 100,000 KRW (about 75 USD).

While presenting items in the 70,000-KRW range (approximately 52 USD), Son Yeon Jae said, “I’m on a hat-buying spree these days. About 15 hats have arrived at my house. I’m going on a trip to the U.S. soon with my husband and baby, but since my husband is going there for work, I have a feeling I’ll end up doing all the childcare by myself.”

She explained that she expects to have little time to do her hair during the trip, which led her to start “hunting for hats,” and then introduced a grey-toned balaclava. After trying it on, she laughed and said, “I don’t think I can actually recommend this one, but I still wanted to show it to you.”

Son Yeon Jae also shared a tip for viewers, saying, “If you’re struggling to choose a gift for someone who recently gave birth, or for a mom with a newborn, get her a hat. She’ll use it every single day. A hat is an essential item for parenting.” She added that not all hat shapes suit her, noting, “I prefer round, deep-fitting hats.”

She then revealed a blue-toned hat and explained, “Since becoming a boy mom, I sometimes need these kinds of colors to match my baby’s clothes. If you wear it with a white T-shirt and jeans, it instantly gives you that boy-mom vibe. I originally preferred warm tones, but after having a son, I keep buying these cool-tone items.”
