Kang Daniel to only participate partially in new 'Wanna One Go' filming due to his impending military enlistment

Kand Daniel answered fans' pressing questions about his participation in Wanna One's reunion. 

Recently on Kang Daniel's official b.stage, one fan asked, "Niel, are you participating in the Wanna One reunion?". 

Kang Daniel responded to the fan's comment with, "I've been getting this question a lot so I do want to address it.. You know it's a reality, right? But I plan to go abroad for a while so I think I will probably just film a little bit of the intro..?"

Next, when some fans mistook his comment to mean that he was actually "going abroad", Kang Daniel clarified, "It means [the] military," suggesting that his mandatory military enlistment is impending. 

Previously, Mnet confirmed that the members of Wanna One would be reuniting through a new season of 'Wanna One Go' in 2026. The new season is currently aiming for release in the first half of 2026.
