VERIVERY’s Kangmin to make his solo debut in March

VERIVERY member Kangmin is gearing up for his upcoming solo debut.

According to reports on the 16th, Kangmin is confirmed to be releasing a new album as a solo artist on March 23rd.

Kangmin debuted in January 2019 as part of the seven-member boy group VERIVERY, launched by Jellyfish Entertainment. 

In July 2025, during his seventh year since debut, he took on a new challenge by appearing on the Mnet global boy group audition program ‘Boys II Planet.’ Despite maintaining a high rank since the beginning of the broadcast, he ultimately placed 9th in the final rankings, narrowly missing the cut-off for the debut group.

Having attracted a massive new fandom through his appearance on ‘Boys II Planet,’ expectations are high for how Kangmin will showcase his unique charms as a solo artist.
