aespa has won a Red Dot Design Award for their single 'Dirty Work.'
The Red Dot Design Award recently announced its list of winners, with aespa’s 'Dirty Work' taking home the main prize in the Product Design category.
Released in June last year, 'Dirty Work' stands out for expanding aespa’s futuristic brand identity into tangible, real-world physical objects.

Through various visual languages, the project conveys themes of independent solidarity and unwavering determination. It incorporates elements such as Blackletter typography and cross-shaped graphics integrated with the typeface.
Special attention was also given to the album’s tin case packaging. Designed as a “physical artifact” that can be carried daily, it was created as an object embodying aespa’s brand philosophy.
This marks aespa’s second time receiving a main prize at the awards. In 2022, they won in the Packaging UX category for their first mini-album, 'Savage.'
The Red Dot Design Award is considered one of the world’s top three design awards, alongside the iF Design Award and IDEA, recognizing projects with outstanding design quality.
Meanwhile, aespa is currently preparing for a comeback, aiming for a return next month.
