
AKMU’s Lee Suhyun has shared insights into her diet and fitness journey through a recent video.
On April 13 KST, a video titled “AKMU coach? diet tips?” was uploaded on the channel ‘Mung Coach,’ featuring Suhyun’s trainer answering questions while she joined from behind the camera.
The trainer explained that Suhyun had already built strong stamina through consistent training, noting that the exercises shown in the video may be challenging for beginners. Suhyun agreed, admitting, “It’s really hard.”
He also emphasized the importance of proper form to avoid injury and shared plans to upload detailed workout guides. Regarding clients, he added that while he mainly trains athletes, he is open to working with those focused on dieting as well.
Diet management was highlighted as a key factor in successful weight loss. The trainer pointed out that many people fail due to inconsistent eating habits or extreme dieting, stressing that a balanced and sustainable approach is essential.
Suhyun shared one of her own methods, recalling how she often ate steamed vegetables with simple sauces during training periods. The trainer recommended similar approaches, noting that such meals can help manage hunger without causing strain.
He also revealed that Suhyun initially lacked confidence in exercising but gradually overcame her slump through consistent effort and support. Suhyun admitted she once doubted whether she could complete the journey, while her trainer expressed confidence in helping her transform both physically and mentally.
