Actress Baek Jin Hee expressed frustration and emotional distress after her YouTube channel was temporarily taken down due to what the platform flagged as a violation of its spam, deceptive practices, and scam-related policies.
On April 28, Baek uploaded a video titled 'I’m Not a Scammer' to address the situation directly with her viewers.
In the video, she explained that her channel, Jiny is back, had suddenly disappeared when she woke up. “I checked and found an email from YouTube saying it was removed due to serious violations of spam, misleading content, and scam policies,” she said.
Baek expressed confusion over the decision, noting that her recent content included videos related to personal color analysis. “I was really surprised. I submitted an appeal, but they said it would take one to two days. I started wondering if I should even continue,” she said tearfully.
She added that she had spent over a month carefully planning and filming content. “I’ve been thinking hard about this and building up the courage to do it. I don’t believe I violated any guidelines,” she said.
The actress also opened up about her emotional state, suggesting that she had already been going through a difficult time. “Some people might think I’m overreacting or being overly emotional, but personally, I’ve been dealing with some bad things already, and then this happened on top of it,” she shared.
However, Baek later updated viewers with positive news that her channel had been restored. Celebrating the recovery, she said, “It really is ‘Jiny is back.’ I wanted to show a bright and healthy side, but it was a day full of emotional ups and downs.”
She ended on a determined note, adding that the experience had made her stronger. “Maybe this was training for me to become tougher. I’ll try to become ‘strong Jiny.’”
