Singer Baekhyun is reportedly in discussions to sign an exclusive contract with Galaxy Corporation, the entertainment-tech company led by G-Dragon.
According to multiple music industry sources on April 22, Baekhyun recently met with representatives from Galaxy Corporation to hold in-depth discussions regarding an exclusive contract. Negotiations are currently ongoing, and the final outcome will be determined once both parties complete the adjustment process.
Earlier, Baekhyun, along with fellow EXO members Chen and Xiumin, reportedly sent a certified notice in late March to One Hundred Label chairman Cha Ga Won, formally requesting termination of their exclusive contracts. The artists demanded clarification regarding unpaid settlements and alleged contract violations. However, after receiving no substantial response from the agency, they ultimately decided to proceed with contract termination.
Meanwhile, SHINee’s Taemin recently left Cha Ga Won’s management and signed with Galaxy Corporation, sparking attention within the industry. If Baekhyun finalizes his move, he is expected to join Taemin under the same label, drawing further interest in the potential collaboration between the two artists.
Galaxy Corporation is known as Korea’s first AI entertainment-tech company, integrating artificial intelligence and robotics with entertainment content. The company currently represents high-profile artists including G-Dragon, Taemin, entertainer Kim Jong Kook, and acclaimed actor Song Kang Ho, positioning itself as a key player in the evolving “entertech” industry.
