CRAVITY teases new narrative in 'ReDeFINE' interlude film

BY hjang · April 26, 2026

CRAVITY is heightening anticipation for their comeback with sensory-driven content that highlights their evolving artistic identity. On April 26, 2026, their agency, Starship Entertainment, released an interlude film for the group's eighth mini-album, 'ReDeFINE', on their official social media channels. The film begins with Minhee lighting a match, initially capturing a free-spirited and vibrant atmosphere where members Serim and Seongmin are seen enjoying a sense of liberation. However, the mood shifts dramatically when Jungmo falls during a dance, abruptly cutting the music and transitioning the narrative into a cold, dark setting featuring Hyeongjun. Through empty gazes and intense expressions, the members portray a theme of restraint and disappearance, concluding with a symmetrical return to Minhee, which symbolizes the concept of repetition.

The eighth mini-album, 'ReDeFINE', is designed to provide the clearest portrait of CRAVITY to date. Having previously explored emotions such as fear, longing, and growth, the group now focuses on the process of constantly redefining themselves beyond fixed boundaries. The title track, 'Awake', specifically delves into the idea that a moment perceived as the end can actually serve as a new beginning, capturing the narrative of encountering a clearer version of oneself after overcoming internal instability.

CRAVITY has already begun building momentum for this release. To mark their sixth anniversary on April 14, the group pre-released a fan song dedicated to their official fandom, LUVITY. They are also hosting a pop-up space event on April 26 and 27, allowing fans to experience the world of the new album in a more immersive way. 'ReDeFINE' and the music video for 'Awake' are scheduled for a global release on all major music platforms on April 29, 2026, at 6:00 PM KST.
