DKZ to wrap up group activities at end of May

DKZ has announced that the group will wrap up its activities at the end of May.

On April 15 KST, their agency Dongyo Entertainment released an official statement confirming that, after discussions with the members, DKZ will conclude group promotions following their final scheduled activities on May 31.

The agency expressed gratitude to the members for their dedication and to fans, known as Dongari, for their continued support throughout the group’s journey.

All five members will transition to individual activities starting in June. Jaechan and Jonghyeong have renewed their contracts with the agency, while Sehyeon, Mingyu, and Giseok will also continue their careers under Dongyo Entertainment in new capacities.

DKZ originally debuted in 2019 under the name Dongkiz before rebranding in 2022. The group has undergone several lineup changes over the years, eventually continuing as a five member team.

As the group closes this chapter, the members are expected to pursue new paths while maintaining their presence in the industry.
