According to ASND Entertainment on April 28, Park Jiwon has been cast as “Ali” in the musical, which will open in July at the GS Art Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

‘Hell’s Kitchen’ is a coming-of-age musical inspired by the life and music of American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys. Set in Manhattan’s 'Hell’s Kitchen' neighborhood, the story follows a young girl, Ali, as she navigates her identity and emotions through music, ultimately discovering her own voice. Since its premiere in 2024, the production has received widespread acclaim, earning a record 13 nominations at the Tony Awards and winning “Best Musical Theatre Album” at the '2025 Grammy Awards.'
Park Jiwon is expected to captivate audiences with her distinctive tone and strong vocal ability in her role as Ali. Recently, she also contributed her voice to the OST “Here I Am” for the drama 'Phantom Lawyer' and has been active as an MC on the web entertainment show Workdol, showcasing her versatility across music and broadcasting. Her transition to musical theatre is drawing significant attention, with anticipation building around what new side she will reveal on stage.
Meanwhile, ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ will hold its first-ever Korean production run starting this July at the GS Art Center in Seoul.
