Ha Ji Won Reveals Why She’s Never Had a Dating Scandal

Ha Ji Won has opened up about why she has remained free from dating rumors throughout her career.

On April 30, the YouTube channel "Class of '26 Ji-won" released a video featuring Kian84 and Kangnam visiting Kyung Hee University, where Ha Ji-won is currently enrolled as a student.

In the video, Ha Ji Won explained their visit, saying, "Kangnam came to visit the school. When I told him I was attending, he said he was curious about the cafeteria food."

Born in 1978, Ha Ji Won is currently enjoying campus life after enrolling this year in the Department of Culinary & Food Design at Kyung Hee University as part of the Class of '26. She applied to the program because of her desire to "develop her own sauces." Notably, there is a 29-year age gap between her and her classmates.

During the visit, Ha Ji Won noted, "My classmates are 20 years old. Heemin (Kian84), did you ever do 'CC' (Campus Couple)? Kangnam, did you date a lot?"

She continued, "They say if you climb up on that lion statue, you’ll become a Campus Couple," but quickly shook her head, adding, "If I climbed up there, I’d get sworn at. It would be a big problem if I became a CC."

Hearing this, Kangnam expressed his fascination with the fact that she has never been caught in a public relationship. "No one in the entire Korean peninsula has ever caught you," he remarked, referring to her lack of dating scandals.

Ha Ji Won then explained the simple reason why: "I haven't dated very many times. I never even got to be a Campus Couple."

Kian84 brought laughter to the group by responding, "I never got to be a CC either. Let’s climb it together," while pointing toward the lion statue rumored to grant campus romance.
