Hwa Sa shared an update on her health, recalling the second-degree burn she suffered on the sole of her foot just before a performance.
On April 14, Hwa Sa appeared on MBC FM4U’s 'Kim Shin-young's Noon Song of Hope,' where she discussed MAMAMOO’s upcoming full-group activities as well as the accident she experienced prior to a concert.

During the broadcast, a listener asked, “Did you get injured while running around so energetically at the concert?” prompting Hwa Sa to personally explain the incident. She said, “I was moving a heated humidifier when I spilled water and stepped on it.” She added, “Fortunately, it wasn’t my body but my foot that got burned.”
She further surprised listeners by revealing the situation at the time, saying, “I was naked while moving the humidifier, and I stepped on the hot water, which helped me avoid a more serious injury.” Hwa Sa immediately went to the emergency room after the accident and received treatment. “It was a second-degree burn, but I’m fully recovered now,” she said. “My skin was dark for a while, but there are almost no traces left anymore.”
Previously, on the web entertainment show 'Salon Drip,' she also mentioned that she had burned her foot the day before a performance after stepping on water from a heated humidifier at over 100°C.
Meanwhile, MAMAMOO is celebrating its 12th debut anniversary and has announced plans for a full-group comeback in June, along with a world tour.
