Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin nominated at Baeksang Arts Awards following Blue Dragon wins

BY Alec06 · April 15, 2026

Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin have once again drawn attention as nominees at the Baeksang Arts Awards, following their wins at last year’s Blue Dragon Film Awards.

On April 13, the Baeksang Arts Awards organizing committee announced this year’s nominations through its official website. The awards cover broadcast content from terrestrial, cable, and OTT platforms, as well as Korean feature films and stage productions released between April 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026.

The couple, who each won Best Actor and Best Actress at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards in November, have both been nominated again in top acting categories this year.

Hyun Bin was nominated for Best Actor in the television category for the Disney+ series ‘Made in Korea.’ In the series, he portrays Baek Ki Tae, a man who seeks to rise to power and wealth by turning the nation itself into a business model. His controlled and cold portrayal of the character received positive reviews.

Other nominees in the category include Ryu Seung Ryong, Park Jin Young, Lee Junho, and Ji Sung.

Son Ye Jin was nominated for Best Actress in the film category for her role in ‘No Other Choice,’ directed by Park Chan Wook. The film marked her return to the big screen after seven years, in which she plays Mi Ri, the wife of a man suddenly laid off from his job.

Other nominees in her category include Go Ah Sung, Moon Ga Young, Lee Hye Young, and Han Ye Ri.

At last year’s Blue Dragon Film Awards, the couple took home four trophies in total, including Best Actor, Best Actress, and popularity awards, further solidifying their status as one of the industry’s most prominent actor couples.

Attention is now on whether they will repeat that success at this year’s Baeksang Arts Awards.
