Numerous fans have received notifications announcing the cancellation of i-dle's 'Syncopation' tour in North America.
The girl group was originally scheduled to stop in a total of 10 cities in North America this August, beginning with Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on August 2 before making their way to the United States. However, fans have now discovered that all 10 stops of the North American tour have been cancelled.
Some suspect that the K-Pop industry is increasingly falling prey to soaring "platinum" ticket pricing for major musical events, not to mention the rampant resale of concert tickets by scalpers via re-sale platforms. Others wondered if rising aircraft fuel prices due to global conflicts is already taking a toll on the entertainment sector.
Meanwhile, i-dle intend to stay busy in 2026 with numerous global stops on their 2026 world tour. The group is also set to make a comeback in July with a new album and take the stage at 'Lollapalooza Chicago' on July 31.
