The management of the K-pop group I.C.U has released an official statement confirming the group's disbandment, effective immediately.
I.C.U, which operated under a distinct "admission and graduation" system, has concluded its collective journey after several years of activity. In the formal notice, the agency explained that the decision follows the graduation of the majority of its members.
"I.C.U was a team operated under an admission and graduation system, and we spent anywhere from 3 to 6 years together with the members," the agency stated. "At this time, all members have graduated, and with only one member remaining and no further admissions planned, we would like to officially announce the disbandment of I.C.U as of today."
The statement concluded with a message of appreciation for the group's supporters: "We will forever cherish all the love, support, and precious memories you have given to I.C.U. We sincerely thank everyone who has loved and supported I.C.U."
Following this announcement, the group's official activities have come to an end as the members prepare for their respective next chapters.
