Rising girl group ifeye is set to make a comeback on April 15 with their new album ‘As if,’ marking their return after a nine month hiatus.
Ahead of the release, the group shared that they focused on improving both their skills and mindset during the break. “We worked hard to grow in areas we felt were lacking,” said member Kasia, adding that they are excited to meet fans again with better music.
Debuting in April last year with ‘Erlu Blue,’ ifeye has steadily built momentum, even earning a spot on NME’s ‘2026 essential emerging artists 100.’ Despite the recognition, the members admitted they were not fully satisfied with their past performances and used the time off for intensive training and self development, including songwriting.
The title track ‘Hazy (Daisy)’ is an easy listening pop song that captures the excitement of love, blending sweet melodies with a dynamic beat. While softer in tone, the group emphasized that their performance remains powerful, featuring hip hop based choreography and intricate footwork.
The album includes five tracks in total, ranging from catchy pop songs to emotional fan dedicated pieces, highlighting the group’s versatility.
Reflecting on their first year, the members described it as both fast paced and meaningful, filled with performances and milestones that helped shape their identity. As they join the competitive wave of April comebacks, ifeye expressed determination to showcase their growth and leave a lasting impression.
“We’ve been waiting for the stage, and we want to enjoy every moment,” the group said, promising to deliver their best performances yet.
