In the finale, Bang Tae Seop, played by Ju Ji Hoon, executed a strategy to dismantle the power structure centered around candidate Son Guk Won. By handing over key testimony related to the Daeyang Fund, he created leverage against Son, while also securing evidence linking Lee Yang Mi to a murder case through a copied USB left behind by Hwang Jung Won.

Meanwhile, Chu Sang Ah, portrayed by Ha Ji Won, used records of illegal activities involving conglomerates and political figures to pressure key players and secure funds, weakening Lee Yang Mi’s influence.
As the story unfolded, Bang Tae Seop and Chu Sang Ah proposed an alliance to Son Guk Won, urging him to abandon Lee Yang Mi. The situation took a dramatic turn when broadcast news revealed black box evidence showing Lee Yang Mi ordering a death to be staged as a suicide.
“Climax” is a gripping survival drama that follows prosecutor Bang Tae Seop as he dives into a powerful cartel in his pursuit of the top, with the finale bringing a head on clash of each character’s secrets as the story reaches its conclusion.
