Kep1er has canceled all four of its scheduled fanmeetings in Japan.
According to reports on April 21 KST, the group will no longer proceed with the “Kep1arcade” fanmeeting events that were set to take place in May. The tour was originally planned to begin on May 15 in Osaka, followed by stops in Tachikawa on May 19 and 20, and Nagoya on May 22.
In response, Clap Entertainment stated that the events were canceled at the request of the organizer. While speculation has emerged regarding possible ticket sales issues, the agency declined to comment further on that aspect.
The fanmeetings had been promoted as a large scale collaboration involving HYBE Japan, drawing attention for its expanded production and concept. However, with the cancellation of all four shows, questions have been raised among fans.
Meanwhile, Kep1er recently returned as a six member group following a lineup change.
