Kim Woo Bin, Lee Kwang Soo, and D.O. return with ‘Green Bean, Red Bean’ new season filmed in Jeju

Actors Kim Woo Bin, Lee Kwang Soo, and Doh Kyung Soo (D.O.) have teamed up once again, traveling to Jeju Island for filming of a new installment of the popular variety show 'Green Bean, Red Bean.'

According to a report by MyDaily on April 16, the trio departed for Jeju on April 14 for the latest season of 'Green Bean, Red Bean,' where they stayed for two nights and three days to complete their first round of filming.

The concept of the upcoming season centers on the theme of “workers.” The series is known for placing its cast in immersive, hands-on roles. In 2023, the original content 'GBRB: Joy Pops Laugh Pops' focused on farming. In 2024, the spin-off 'Green Bean, Red Bean Spin-off: Cafeteria Operation' featured the cast running a restaurant. Another spin-off last year followed the cast on a trip to Mexico.

In this new season, the actors will take care of livestock and carry out various tasks on Jeju Island, bringing both humor and authenticity to the show. The first shoot has already been completed, and the production team plans to return to Jeju several more times for additional filming.

The first season recorded a peak viewership rating of 5 percent, gaining strong popularity among viewers. Building on that success, the series has continued annually with fresh concepts. The broadcast schedule for the new season has not yet been confirmed.
