Moon Geun Young jokes about weight gain, shares positive outlook

Actor Moon Geun Young drew attention with her lighthearted humor while sharing an update on her recent life.

In a preview for tvN’s 'You Quiz on the Block' aired on April 15 KST, Moon Geun Young appeared as a guest, marking her return to the spotlight. Host Yoo Jae Suk welcomed her as “the nation’s little sister,” to which she jokingly responded that she has now turned 40.

Moon Geun Young also made a playful remark about her appearance, saying, “I don’t know if my body got bigger or my heart did,” bringing laughter to the set.

She previously underwent emergency surgery for acute compartment syndrome, a serious condition that can lead to tissue damage if not treated promptly. Reflecting on the experience, she shared that she had already passed the critical time window before receiving surgery, making the situation more urgent at the time.

Now fully recovered, Moon Geun Young expressed a positive outlook on life, saying she is looking forward to enjoying her 40s with a more relaxed and open mindset.
