Narsha’s husband Hwang Tae Kyung reveals emergency brain surgery and ongoing recovery process

Hwang Tae Kyung, husband of Narsha from Brown Eyed Girls, has revealed that he recently underwent emergency brain surgery.

On April 30, Hwang shared an update through his social media, stating, “I had to undergo brain surgery rather urgently. The symptoms had been progressing for a long time, and recently it became difficult to carry out daily activities. The surgery on April 29 was completed successfully, and I am now focusing on recovery and various examinations.”

He also expressed regret for his sudden absence, explaining that the short preparation time prevented him from informing people in advance. “I’m sorry for any inconvenience caused. I couldn’t attend prior commitments or important occasions, which may have led to misunderstandings. I kindly ask for your understanding,” he said.

Hwang added that he is currently using a ventilator, making phone calls difficult, though he can still check messages with some delay. “I believe I will gradually be able to return to daily life in about a month. I will reach out to everyone individually once I recover in good health. Thank you for your concern and support,” he shared.

Hwang Tae Kyung married Narsha in 2016. He initially worked as a fashion entrepreneur before debuting as a music producer in 2023. He also gained public attention through his appearance on the TV program 'Jagiya' in 2018.
