South Korean top model Shin Hyun Ji is set to tie the knot with her non-celebrity partner on April 26 in Seoul, according to a report by Spotv News on April 25.
The wedding is expected to be a small, private ceremony held at an undisclosed location in the capital. Due to the couple’s decision to keep preparations strictly confidential, news of the upcoming wedding only became widely known shortly before the event. Attendance will reportedly be limited to close family members and a small circle of friends.
Shin Hyun Ji, born in 1996, first rose to prominence after winning 'Korea’s Next Top Model Season 4' in 2013. Since then, she has built a strong international career and is widely regarded as one of South Korea’s leading global fashion models.
She has been particularly recognized in the luxury fashion industry for her distinctive runway presence, becoming the first Asian model to close a Chanel collection show. This milestone helped cement her reputation as a “Chanel muse” and a standout figure in high fashion.
Beyond the runway, Shin has expanded her portfolio across major advertising campaigns and editorial features, balancing both high fashion and commercial work. In recent years, she has also increased her visibility on television, appearing as a guest on variety programs and taking on fixed roles in shows such as 'Street Food Bikers' and 'Jin Seo Yeon’s NO.'
She is also scheduled to appear next month as a label leader on tvN’s upcoming fashion survival program 'Kill It: Style Creator War,' further broadening her presence in the entertainment industry alongside her modeling career.
