The group released their 8th mini-album '7th Year: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns' on April 13. According to Hanteo Chart, the album sold 1,357,029 copies on its first day.
With this, TXT has now recorded seven consecutive albums, surpassing one million copies in first-week sales. The albums that achieved the million sales include: 'The Name Chapter: Temptation,' 'The Name Chapter: Freefall,' 'Minisode 3: Tomorrow,' 'The Star Chapter: Sanctuary,' and 'The Star Chapter: Together.'
The group is also seeing strong performance on domestic music charts. As of 10 AM on April 14, the title track “Stick With You” ranked No. 18 on Melon Top 100, while reaching No. 1 on Bugs Real-time Chart.
Global listeners are also taking notice. On the day of release, the album went straight to No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart.
It also ranked No. 3 on the European iTunes Album Chart and topped iTunes “Top Albums” charts in 15 countries and regions, including Japan, New Zealand, and Brazil.
This marks TXT’s first album since renewing their contracts. The members take center stage as the protagonists of their own story, reflecting on the emotions and thoughts they have experienced over the past seven years since their debut.
Meanwhile, TXT will hold a comeback live broadcast on the global fan communication platform Weverse at 8 PM on April 14.
