Dancer Vata’s agency has firmly denied recent online rumors surrounding his past relationship history following confirmation of his relationship with actress Ji Ye Eun.
On April 15, Vata’s agency, AERA, released an official statement saying, “We have refrained from responding as the matter was not worth addressing. However, since some media outlets have reported unverified claims without proper fact-checking, we clearly state that they are false.”
The agency further clarified, “He has never been in a six-year relationship. The timing of his past relationship and breakup was three years ago.” It added, “If baseless false information continues to spread, we will take strong legal action at the agency level.”
The clarification comes shortly after Vata publicly confirmed his relationship with Ji Ye Eun on April 13. At the time, his agency stated, “The two are maintaining a good relationship with mutual affection and care.”
However, following the announcement, online communities began circulating claims alleging that Vata had ended a six-year relationship shortly before starting to date Ji Ye Eun. These rumors prompted the agency’s strong rebuttal, emphasizing that the claims are entirely false.
Meanwhile, Vata, born in December 1994, is a dancer and leader of the dance crew We Dem Boyz. He has worked as a choreographer for numerous K-pop artists, including KARD, Kang Daniel, CRAVITY, SuperM, EXO’s Kai, SHINee, and NMIXX. He also gained widespread attention after appearing on Mnet’s 'Street Man Fighter' in 2022, where he showcased his performance skills.
