What if an idol group made their debut—not on a grand concert stage—but right inside a school?
That's exactly what AmbiO did, instantly drawing attention to their debut showcase.
Breaking away from the industry’s polished and predictable debut formula, AmbiO has captured attention with a refreshingly unconventional approach: a live showcase held at a school.
Instead of flashing lights and massive venues, their debut unfolded in familiar spaces—classrooms, teachers' offices, hallways, and an intimate stage filled with the raw energy of youth. The setting creates a rare sense of closeness and relatability, offering viewers the feeling that something extraordinary could happen in the most ordinary of places.

For their first performance, AmbiO stepped onto the stage of an all-girls high school. But the moment didn’t come easily. The members first had to complete a series of missions assigned by the teachers, earning permission to perform in a way that added both charm and a narrative layer to their debut.
Meanwhile, AmbiO is a five-member South Korean boy group under E Entertainment. Comprising Tetsu, Jeesoo, Ruone, Kiwon, and Seungsang, the group officially entered the K-pop scene with a clear identity built around ambition, growth, and youthful energy.
The group name AmbiO is derived from the phrase “BOYS BE AMBITIOUS,” carrying the meaning of delivering messages of challenge, courage, and hope to youth. Rooted in this concept, AmbiO aims to express continuous growth through music and performance, combining each member’s individuality into a unified artistic identity.
Born Guo Wun Jhe, Tetsu is the leader, main dancer, and rapper of the group. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, on January 28, 2003, he brings strong performance skills and leadership to AmbiO. Known for his disciplined personality and athletic build, he earned the nickname “Kangaroo” from fellow member Ruone. Tetsu was the first member revealed, setting the tone for the group’s introduction to the public.
Jeesoo, born Lee Jee Soo, is a Korean-Canadian rapper born in Calgary, Canada, on May 28, 2004. Standing as the tallest member at 186 cm, he is known for his striking visuals and calm yet charismatic presence. Fluent in both English and Korean, Jeesoo brings global versatility to the group. He was the second member to be revealed.
Born Takehata Kai, Ruone is a Japanese vocalist and dancer born on June 17, 2004. A former contestant on the survival show MAKEMATE1, he continues to pursue his goal of becoming a steadily improving artist. Known for his expressive performance style and strong stage presence, Ruone draws inspiration from NCT’s Taeyong. He was the third member revealed.
Kiwon, born Yoo Ki Won, is the group’s main vocalist and dancer, born on July 30, 2006. A former contestant on 'BOYS II PLANET,' he later signed with E Entertainment and continued training toward his debut. Known for his flexible dance ability and emotional vocal tone, Kiwon also released a solo pre-debut single titled “こころ” on December 30, 2025. He was the fourth member revealed.
Seungsang, born Cho Seung Sang on May 30, 2007, is the youngest member and a vocalist and dancer in AmbiO. The son of actor Cho Sunchang, he grew up in Seoul before moving to Sunchang. Known for his energetic personality and wide range of talents, he has experience in dance teams and a strong interest in performance. He was the final member revealed before the debut.
