XODIAC gains buzz with fully AI-generated MV ‘Alibi: Moonlight Blood Alliance’

BY Alec06 · April 22, 2026

In an era where music videos often cost over $1 million per episode, XODIAC is drawing major attention with a fully AI-generated production.

The group’s music video ‘Alibi: Moonlight Blood Alliance,’ created entirely using generative AI, has been gaining buzz for both its concept and execution.

Released late last year, the MV has been recognized for its high level of completion, earning invitations to multiple international film festivals. It won awards including Screen Writer and Interview at the Seoul International AI Film Festival, and was also named “Best AI Music Video” at the AI International Film Festival.

Following these achievements, the project has been officially invited to global events such as the AI Film Cannes Festival in France and the Hollywood AI Short Film Festival in the United States.

Fans have also praised the film-style poster released by JACSO Entertainment, noting that it resembles a movie poster filled with festival accolades.

In the MV, the members of XODIAC appear as warriors set in a medieval fantasy world, battling dragons in large-scale action scenes. While such visuals would typically require massive production budgets, the AI-driven approach allowed the group to bring the concept to life with striking realism. The members themselves appear as “digital twins” within the video.

“Alibi” is the title track from XODIAC’s fourth single, released in November last year. Industry insiders have pointed to the project as a potential alternative for smaller agencies struggling with the high costs of traditional music video production.

Another source commented that XODIAC’s approach could represent a “new kind of miracle” for rising groups, combining effort with smart use of emerging AI technology.

XODIAC is a multinational boy group that debuted in April 2023 and is currently in its fourth year.
