While the first half of 2026 highlighted YG's impressive 30-year legacy, from BLACKPINK's successful comeback to Big Bang's long-awaited reunion on stage at '2026 Coachella', the second half is expected to shine light on the label's bright future.
First, YG Entertainment plans to signal a new chapter for Big Bang with a world tour scheduled in the second half of 2026, reaffirming the group's lasting legacy in K-Pop. Back home, YG's next generation artists TREASURE and BABYMONSTER both plan to release new albums in the second half of 2026 before embarking on new tours.
Finally, YG Entertainment hinted at the launch of its new boy group project in the second half of 2026. The project is currently under way with YG head producer Yang Hyun Suk overseeing the selection of talents through YG global auditions and training programs.
