AB6IX closes chapter with Brand New Music after anniversary concert

AB6IX successfully wrapped up its seventh anniversary concert '6IX TO SEVEN' with fans.

The concerts were held on May 23 and 24 at Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Seoul. Debuting on May 22, 2019, AB6IX used the performances to reflect on its seven-year journey and share meaningful memories with fans.

Opening the show with HOLLYWOOD, which first gained attention during a 2017 Mnet audition program, the group energized the crowd with performances of "Resonance", "SURREAL", and "BLAZE".

Throughout the concert, AB6IX revisited key moments from its career, filling the venue with cheers and emotional reactions from fans.

The members’ solo stages particularly stood out for their creativity and high level of production. Kim Dong Hyun participated as part of a live band and personally played guitar on stage, while Park Woo Jin impressed audiences with a synchronized pair dance performance alongside a female dancer.

Jeon Woong and Lee Dae Hwi also showcased performances carefully designed to maximize the unique charm of their respective songs.

In the latter half of the concert, the group performed "Given", a track from its third full-length album choreographed by Park Woo Jin, followed by fan-favorite hits including "BREATHE, "BLIND FOR LOVE", and the “Why We Broke Up” series, creating an emotional atmosphere filled with nostalgia.

The members shared heartfelt messages with fans, saying, “Thank you to everyone who stayed with us through our shining youth,” and “All the moments we cried and smiled together with fans made AB6IX who we are today.”

They added, “We are grateful to the fans who quietly stayed by our side through every moment. Please look forward to the day we return as an even better AB6IX to repay the love you’ve given us.”

Meanwhile, following the conclusion of the concert, AB6IX’s exclusive contract with Brand New Music officially came to an end. The group will temporarily focus on individual activities during a short hiatus.
