ADOR appoints new legal team in lawsuit against Danielle

BY Alec06 · May 12, 2026

ADOR has appointed four new legal representatives amid its ongoing legal dispute involving Danielle.

According to reports on May 12, ADOR recently appointed four attorneys from Law Firm 'Rihan' and immediately submitted a request for a change in the court schedule.

Previously, five attorneys from 'Kim & Chang', who had represented ADOR, submitted their resignations last month. Law Firm Rihan is also known for representing Bang Si Hyuk in matters related to alleged violations of capital market law.

The Seoul Central District Court is scheduled to hold the first official hearing for the case on May 14 at 3:10 p.m., approximately two months after the initial preparatory hearing held on March 26.

ADOR, which has been engaged in an exclusive contract dispute with members of NewJeans, filed a damages lawsuit worth approximately 43 billion KRW (around 31 million USD) against Danielle following the termination of her exclusive contract last December.

The agency claims that Danielle’s side and former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin bear significant responsibility for NewJeans’ departure and delays in returning to activities.

The case is currently being handled by the same civil division of the Seoul Central District Court that previously ruled in favor of Min Hee jin in the first trial regarding her legal dispute with HYBE over stock option rights.

In addition, the court reportedly approved ADOR’s request in February for provisional seizure of real estate assets belonging to Danielle’s mother and Min Hee Jin. The total claim amount reportedly stands at 7 billion KRW (approximately 5 million USD), with 2 billion KRW tied to Danielle’s mother and 5 billion KRW linked to Min Hee Jin.
