aespa shared their excitement and determination ahead of the release of their second full-length album 'LEMONADE.'

On May 28 KST, aespa held a press showcase for their upcoming album at the Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel Grand Ballroom in Jamsil, Seoul.

'LEMONADE' marks aespa’s first full-length release in two years since their 2024 studio album 'Armageddon.'

Member Karina described the album as especially meaningful for the group. “Our first full album received so much love, so we prepared this one with both excitement and pressure,” she said. “We discussed a lot and carefully thought about what kind of image we wanted to show. Since we worked so hard on it, we hope people can see our growth.”

Giselle also expressed gratitude for the group’s return with another full-length album. “I’m so happy and thankful to greet fans again with a studio album after a long time,” she said. “The previous album received even more love than we expected, so we hope this album will also receive lots of support. There are many high-quality songs on it.”

Meanwhile, Winter emphasized the group’s effort to showcase a variety of styles and stories through the album’s tracks. “Since it’s a full-length album, we worked hard to capture many different moods and emotions,” she explained. “Even during recording, I kept thinking about how each song would look on stage. I hope listeners will hear it and think, ‘This is so aespa.’”

Ningning added, “I’m excited, but also a little nervous. This album has aespa’s signature powerful style, but people will also feel a more relaxed and cool energy from us. We prepared it confidently, so please look forward to it.”
