On May 5 (KST), model Bhavitha Mandava shared a mirror selfie taken in a restroom at the '2026 Met Gala' via her personal social media account. Alongside the post, she wrote, “Felt cute, might delete later,” adding a playful tone to the behind-the-scenes moment.
The photo shows BLACKPINK members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa posing together with Mandava and actress Rachel Sennott. Dressed in striking haute couture looks, the group contrasted their glamorous outfits with lighthearted, playful expressions, creating a moment that quickly went viral among fans.
Fashion magazine Vogue Korea also highlighted the moment on its official social media, noting, “We’re finally seeing this lineup. It marks the first time all four BLACKPINK members have appeared together at the 'Met Gala red carpet.' Each showcased their unique style through their '2026 Met Gala' looks.”
Earlier that evening, BLACKPINK attended the '2026 Met Gala' held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. This year’s theme, “Fashion is Art,” was reflected in the members’ individually styled luxury ensembles as global ambassadors of leading fashion houses.
First launched in 1948, the 'Met Gala' is an annual fundraising event organized by Vogue in collaboration with the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Widely regarded as the world’s most prestigious fashion event, it takes place every year on the first Monday of May.
This year’s guest list also included several prominent Korean stars, such as Karina and Ningning of aespa, actor Ahn Hyo Seop, and model Jung Ho Yeon, underscoring the growing global presence of Korean artists in the fashion industry.
