Cha Jun Hwan confirmed for ‘Solo Leveling’ ice musical debut as Sung Jin Woo

Figure skater Cha Jun Hwan has officially confirmed his appearance in 'Solo Leveling on Ice.'

'Solo Leveling on Ice' is based on the mega-hit IP 'Solo Leveling,' which sparked a global phenomenon across web novels, webtoons, games, and animation.

During its premiere run last year, the production received praise as a large-scale ice show that combined dazzling skating performances with stage production, music, and advanced visual technology. Following strong audience demand for another run, the show is returning with an upgraded performance.

This time, Cha Jun Hwan will take on the lead role of Sung Jin Woo. He is expected to deliver a powerful performance portraying the protagonist’s journey from humanity’s weakest hunter to the strongest after his awakening, all through figure skating.

The upcoming production is also expected to feature enhanced storytelling and performances. Building on the visually spectacular skating stage direction that drew acclaim during the first run, the show will present Sung Jin Woo’s growth narrative in a more immersive and multidimensional way.

Cha Jun Hwan’s expressive performance style and technical skating ability are expected to further elevate the quality of the production. 'Solo Leveling on Ice' will run for only 12 performances from August 7 to August 17 at Mokdong Ice Rink.

Meanwhile, ticket sales for 'Solo Leveling on Ice' will open on June 5 at 3 PM KST through NOL Ticket and Ticketlink.
