Fromis_9’s Lee Chae Young Misses University Festival Performances Due to Health Issues Ahead of July Comeback

fromis_9 member Lee Chae Young will not participate in scheduled university festival appearances due to health concerns.

On May 14, the group’s agency ASND announced that Lee Chae Young is suffering from stomach cramps and dehydration symptoms, forcing her to sit out that day’s scheduled appearances at the '2026 Dankook University Jukjeon Campus Nakhwayusu' festival and the '2026 Sungkyunkwan University Seoul Campus Munhaeng Daedongje' festival.

The agency stated that the singer is currently focusing on rest and recovery and asked fans for their understanding.

This is not the first recent schedule Lee Chae Young has missed due to health-related issues. She was also absent from a festival at Sangji University on May 12 due to health concerns.

Meanwhile, fromis_9 is preparing to make a comeback in July with a full-length album, marking the group’s first studio album release in approximately three years.
