Girls’ Generation’s YoonA invited to Cannes Film Festival once again

YoonA of Girls’ Generation is set to attend the Cannes Film Festival.

According to SM Entertainment on May 12 KST, YoonA has been officially invited to the 79th Cannes Film Festival as a global brand ambassador for luxury jewelry brand Qeelin. She will attend the event on May 17 local time at Palais des Festivals.

Previously, YoonA attended the 77th Cannes Film Festival in 2024 as Qeelin’s global ambassador, drawing worldwide attention for her elegant visuals and sophisticated aura. Anticipation is already building over the fashion and presence she will showcase at this year’s event.

In addition to the festival appearance, YoonA will also participate in the Kering Women In Motion awards event, which highlights women’s creativity and contributions within the film industry. She is expected to interact with notable figures from around the world during the event.
