HEART OF WOMAN begins journey as first girl group from late Wheesung’s label

HEART OF WOMAN officially stepped into the spotlight with its debut showcase on May 27 in Seoul.

The group held a press showcase for its debut album Heart Byte : LEGACY at The Riverside Hotel in Sinsa-dong, where the members posed for photos and introduced themselves to the media.

HEART OF WOMAN, also known by the abbreviated name H.O.W, consists of five members: Jihyun, Chaeyi, Lili, Ain, and Ryuin. The group has already attracted attention for featuring contestants from several survival audition programs, including R U NEXT?, Universe Ticket, and Unpretty Rapstar.

The group also carries special significance as the first girl group launched by Blue Brown Record, a label established by late R&B artist Wheesung and director Myung Sangwoo.

According to the group, the name “HEART OF WOMAN” symbolizes five hearts with different stories and energies coming together to create one powerful heartbeat capable of moving listeners. The shortened name “H.O.W” additionally reflects the members’ ambition to continuously ask themselves “how” they will move forward and create their own musical path rather than simply following existing trends.

With their official debut now underway, HEART OF WOMAN aims to showcase its own unique color and musical identity in the K-pop scene.
