HYBE and Geffen Records are gearing up to debut their second girl group, with the final lineup set to be decided soon.
Episode 11 of the audition program 'World Scout: The Final Piece' was released on May 5, revealing Japanese contestants Ayana and Sakura as the final two candidates.
The pair is currently preparing for the final stage, scheduled for May 12. Ayana will perform the new track “WE RIDE,” while Sakura will take the stage with “PARTY b4 the PARTY.”
Confirmed debut members will also join the performances. Emily (United States), Lexie (Sweden), and Samara (Brazil) will team up with Ayana and Sakura, meeting audiences at a live show in Los Angeles.

Emily has been working as a professional dancer since the age of 14 and previously competed in the final round of 'The Debut: Dream Academy,' the audition program that formed KATSEYE.
Samara drew attention for her soulful yet delicate vocals, finishing in seventh place in the final competition. Lexie is recognized as an all-rounder with skills in songwriting and producing.
Meanwhile, HYBE and Geffen Records previously launched KATSEYE through 'The Debut: Dream Academy' in 2023. The group quickly established a global presence following their debut.
Most recently, KATSEYE performed at Lollapalooza Chicago, showcasing strong live vocals, and has continued to achieve success on major U.S. charts, including the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200.
