I.O.I member Jeon So Mi shared her heartfelt thoughts after the group wrapped up their final music show promotion for their surprise comeback track “Suddenly,” expressing both gratitude and sadness over the moment.
On May 28, Jeon So Mi posted on social media, writing, “Today was truly the last broadcast of "Suddenly." Thank you for loving "Suddenly" so much,” alongside a group photo taken in the dressing room after their final stage.
The image captured the members of I.O.I still in their stage outfits, gathered together after completing their music show performance. The atmosphere was visibly emotional, with several members appearing tearful as they marked the end of the short but meaningful promotional cycle.
Kim Chung Ha was seen playfully holding back tears, pouting while pretending to cry, while Choi Yoo Jung mirrored the sentiment with a similar emotional expression. Kim Se Jeong and Lim Na Young also struck poses reflecting their bittersweet feelings about the ending of the promotions.
Jung Chae Yeon was seen holding a tissue to her face, highlighting the emotional weight of the moment, while Kim So Hye appeared visibly teary-eyed. In contrast, Kim Do Yeon brought a lighter mood with a bright smile, drawing attention for her cheerful expression amid the emotional scene.
Jeon So Mi further expressed her deep affection for the group, repeatedly writing “I love you” and adding, “I will remember this forever,” underscoring the lasting bond among the members.
Fans responded warmly and emotionally to the post, leaving comments such as “Please stay together forever,” “Everyone is crying,” “I’ll wait for your return someday,” and “Let’s come back every year if possible,” reflecting both nostalgia and excitement over the group’s brief reunion.
Meanwhile, I.O.I released their special reunion track “Suddenly” on May 19, marking approximately a decade since their debut. The song has continued to perform strongly on music charts and even secured nominations for first place on music programs, proving the group’s enduring popularity.
To celebrate their reunion, I.O.I is set to kick off the '2026 I.O.I Concert Tour: LOOP' at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul from May 29 to 31. Following the Seoul shows, the group will continue their tour across major Asian cities, including Bangkok and Hong Kong, meeting fans across the region.
